Separated from Sonic, flying off in search of a 'different from the usual sort of adventure' by himself, Tails came across a solitary island floating on the sea. Upon landing on the island, Tails saw a strange spectacle… stretching across the whole island was a huge steel railroad, and no indication of any animals whatsoever. Feeling a tremor in the railroad, Tails hid himself in the grass beside it. Then along came a shiny silver railcar… as the car rolled past, the figure on board said:
'This island belongs to the great witch, Wendy Witchcat! I'll turn any who oppose me to crystal with my magic!'
Upon hearing that, Tails quickly determined what to do. That's right! The opening curtain of Tails' adventure by himself!
